Mashattan skyline

Application: Residential Building

It’s certainly not a typographic error. Mashattan is an ambitious new sky-scraping residential development in Istanbul, set to become a Turkish rival to the New York skyline. The complex of ten of the tallest residential blocks in the city is set within a 160,000m2 development, and more than 500 ITT Lowara pumps will feature at its heart.
ALP Pompa Teknolojileri Tic. San. A.S, an ITT Premier Circle Gold Distributor, has been appointed by Turkish contractor TAS Yapi A.S to work on building services elements of this high-profile project.

Sky high quality in Istanbul

The ten 33-floor residential buildings located in Maslak will certainly make a statement, with a hilltop location for the 140m towers which will contain 1790 residential units. The road system was started even before the foundations were laid, and a new metro station in Maslak will serve the new residents.
TAS Yapi set themselves a 36-month timeframe for the Mashattan project which began in September 2005 and approaches completion. Confidence in suppliers is clearly an important element of the build.
Lowara offers the best product quality, professional service, advanced technology, and a competitive price,” commented Levent Topel, Marketing Manager for ALP Pompa.
The development requires 450 inline FC cast iron centrifugal pumps, fitted with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers welded using laser technology, as part of the heating, ventilation and cooling systems. More than half will be fitted with Hydrovar® variable speed controls for optimum efficiency.
The buildings also feature 23 SV vertical multistage centrifugal pump booster sets equipped with master Hydrovar®; 46 DLC and DLG series submersible drainage pumps (both channel and grinder versions); and ITT A-C fire fighting pumps acquired through Norm Teknik.
