Hydrovar Energy Calculator

Use this tool to approximate energy savings with a Hydrovar Controller compared to a full speed pump.

Following data is to be entered for the calculation:

Step 1 – Select the unit you want to use for pressure

Step 2 - Enter the common operating conditions

  • Enter up to five common flow rates required by your system,
    starting with the highest flow.
  • For each flow, enter the TDH of a full speed pump at that flow rate.
  • For each flow, enter the percentage of total time the pump runs at this flow.
  • For multi-pump systems, apply the percentage of full capacity to the flow rate of the first pump.
